This day is a remembrance and dedication to all those people who gave their lives, mind, body, and soul to free India. Countless lives were lost and many were tortured but with immense determination and faith, Indian rose as a free country. On this day, India’s tricolor flag was hoisted above the Lahore Gate of Red Fort in Delhi on August 15, 1947.
Independence day was celebrated by Shiv gram Education Society, all the staff members and Management and parents were present. Madam Gauri Shirodker and Sir Sachin Shirodker hoisted the flag and commemorated the occasion by the traditional ceremony and also delivered inspiring speeches. Some Students gave speeches and sang the patriotic song. Students participated in fancy dress competition at the Grampanchayat of Shiroda.
