The International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking is observed every year on 26 June to spread awareness about the serious issues caused because of drug abuse across the world. The aim is to strengthen action and cooperation to achieve the goal of an international society free of drug abuse. With the fresh challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking gives us an opportunity to work to strengthen our resolve to achieve the goal of making our societies free of drugs.
